Cars in Germany's Town Discovered Marked with Swastikas in Human Blood, Police State

Officers stated they were notified by a man who found a automobile in Hanau covered with red-colored liquid

Roughly 50 automobiles have been smeared with what seems to be human blood in the Germany's town of Hanau close to Frankfurt, police confirm authorities.

Cars, building surfaces and postboxes were marked, in some cases with prohibited symbols, they announced in a release.

Officers say they were alerted in the late hours on Wednesday night, when a individual discovered that a automobile in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been covered with a reddish liquid.

The liquid had been applied in the pattern of a Nazi symbol, they reported.

Officers then discovered many other vandalized vehicles and residential walls in the nearby vicinity.

Swastikas are prohibited in Germany under legislation banning the public exhibition of Nazi symbols.

Officials report initial examinations suggest the fluid was likely human blood.

"At present there remains no indication as to its source; authorities are not yet aware of any harm in association with the occurrence," they commented.

City officials stated they were attempting "to solve the mystery" and have requested to the residents for information.

A high-ranking representative said the attack made him without words and had to be addressed rapidly.

"This incident affects the very heart of Hanau and revives the pain of the far-right terrorist attack five years ago," he wrote on a platform, referring to the death of nine people by a shooter targeting people of immigrant origin in 2020.
